He earned a Master's degree in Education and an Educational Specialist degree in School Counseling from the University of Florida. He is an active member of the American School Counselor Association, Florida School Counselor Association and Volusia School Counselor Association. Mr. Rivera was born in Puerto Rico and graduated from Deltona High School. Mr. Rivera's hobbies include reading, chess, golf and ping pong.

Mrs. Little is a true Barracuda! A graduate of New Smyrna Beach High School, she received her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Bethune Cookman College and Master's degree in School Counseling from the University of Central Florida. Since returning to NSBHS in 1997, Mrs. Little has worked as a teacher, Career Connection Facilitator and counselor. She is an avid sports fan who is happiest during the fall (football & basketball season). She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, married and the mother of two.

He came to NSBHS from Texas as a school counselor and taught history for two years. He was a football and track coach for three years. He loves to coach sports and is an avid reader.

Her background includes serving as a Psychology Professor at DSC and as the Dual Enrollment Human Potential teacher for NSBHS. Mrs. Evans is a member of Phi Delta Kappa, Florida School Counselor Association and the Volusia School Counselor Association.
